GrandMother:
Sir David Williams, who lived from 1536 to 1613. It is said that there used to be a monument to him in Kingston Bagpuize church, recording that a part of his remains were buried there but it is "no longer to be found. His monument, however, still exists in St. John's Priory church in Brecknock. It was his second wife, Dorothy, widow of John Latton of Kingston Bagpuize, who gave him, and so his descendants, their grip of this part of the country. He married her in 1597.
