- The inscription is difficult, but not impossible to read. She was daughter of Thomas Tame and wife of Edmund Horne Esquyer. Notice that the inspcription is in rhyme.
....Thomas Tame evidently held it at his death c. 1545 and Edmund Horne, who married Thomas's daughter Elizabeth, (fn. 106) sold it in 1550 to Anthony Bustard of Adderbury(Oxon.).
