        I, Elizabeth Lanfear of Church Street, Islington, Widow, do make my last Will and Testament as follows. I bequeath to Mr Ambrose Lanfear, oldest son of my late husband Mr Ambrose Lanfear, three silver watches, a silver Cross and a silver Fish Knife; also the twenty two volumes of the Encylopedia Britannica. All the residue of my Estate and Effects I give and bequeath to my dear Son Francis Lanfear for his own absolute use and benefit. ....In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirty first day of December 1824.
