        Will of Richard Flower, Gentleman of Devizes, Wiltshire 25 November 1624 PROB 11/144
        Richard Flower, (son of Stephen Flower of Devizes, gent,) Mayor of Devizes 1604-11-20, buried at St. John's Oct. 30th, 1624. His brother, Thomas Flower, of London, draper, by will dated at Stoade in Germany, where lhe died July 31st, 100.5, bequeathed to the Poor of the burough £10, to be distributed at the discretion of his brother Richard, and John Pierce his brother-iu-law, (having married his sister Eleanor.) Also other £10 towards paving the Town.
