Ann Axford of Erlestoke married John Froud of Roulston (?) in 1700. Mary Axford of Erlestoke married Edward Froud in 1737. In 1689 the house of John Axford (a Baptist) was permitted to be used for a service (Edward Froude was involved).
May have had children Issac, Joseph, john and ann Froud.
There were plenty of Axfords around in Elestoke prior to 1700 but the parish records are either spotty or people did not register (Baptists/Quakers, etc.?). For this reason we can only get back to Jonathon and Grace - they were quite well off (see the will, 760 pounds) - although they were probably the first to be in this position. There is a certain amount of early information about Axford activities in the Parish bit I do not seem to have any at hand.
Married a second time to Thomas George? Mentioned as Anne George in the will of her father dated 1727.
