  From: Portculis Subject: Corrected St. John ancestry Date: 29 Jan 1998 10:00:33 GMT 7. Sir John St. John, born in or before 1495, died in 1558. His monumental inscription says he was raised by Margaret Beaufort (d. 1509). He married Margaret Walgrave by 1521, and was father of Oliver St. John, 1st Lord St. John of Bletsoe (d. 1581-2).
