- In the chancel are several 17th-century monuments to the family of Trott, including one to Katherine wife of Sir Hugh Stewkley and daughter of Sir John Trott, who died in 1679. It has a very quaint inscription and a large white marble bust in acanopy. Another is to Sir John Trott, 1672, set up by his widow Elizabeth, afterwards wife of the Honourable James Russell. She died in 1693. There are also monuments to John Trott, 1658, and to his wife Katherine, 1661, and to John son of Sir John Trott, 1664, and Edmund his brother, 1667. Allare very good examples in black and white marble.
