Mary BROWN was born on 18 Jun 1793 at Chiseldon, Wilts (called Mary-ann in what appears to be a copy from a family bible in DM96). She was baptized on 27 Jun 1793 at Chisledon, Wilts. She was living on 18 Dec 1819. She was living on 25 Oct 1849. She appeared on the census of 31 Mar 1851 at Church Path(?), Box, Wilts (unmarried, independent, with sister Elizabeth). She left a will on 4 May 1857 at the parish of Chiseldon, Wilts (spinster). Mary and Elizabeth Brown made identical wills on the same day. She appeared on the census of 8 Apr 1861 at Chiseldon, Wilts (unmarried, Interest of Money, with sister Elizabeth, apparently in same house as Thomas Hollister. NB name spelled Browne). She died on 22 Oct 1863 at Chiseldon, Wilts, aged 70 (of Chisledon, presumably unmarried). She was buried on 28 Oct 1863 at Chisledon, Wilts. Her estate was proved on 3 Mar 1864 (under £3000).
