"This tablet is erected by her three surviving children to the revered memory of Ann widow of Thomas Canning of Ramsbury in this county and eldest dauaghter of William and Anne Browne of Chiseldon who died at Box on the 14th day of January in the year of our lord 1853 aged 62 years. Also to the affectionate memory of their sister Mary the wife of Thomas Fudge of Clifton and youngest daughter of the above named Thomas and Anne Canning who died on the 29th day of November in the year of our lord 1842 aged 22 years.
