"I Robert Neate of the burrough of Devizes, Wiltshire... I give and bequeath to my sister Elizabeth Neate the sum of one thousand pounds and to my sister Katherine wife of John Baverstock the sum of fifty pounds Also I give to my sister Martha Neate an annuity or yearly sum of five pounds during her natural life ..... Also I give to my two nephews Robert Nicholas and John Nicholas .. I give and bequeath to my dear mother Katharine Neate and to my brother Thomas Neate ....the said Robert Neate have.....this fourteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy five.
