Major Edward Webb
Succeeded his father as head of the family. His uncle gave him Rodbourne Cheney and his buttcoat, guilded sword and pistols to fight for King Charles.
His grandmother Katherine St. John left him "my silver bole with the St. John arms on it."
Lived at the family seat of Overwroughton Manor.
In 1638 he was of age when he sold land with his father.
Little known of him except he"died in the service of the King". ie was in arms against parliament and was slain, about 1645 leaving a widow and family of small children.
Feb. 1646-Administration on his estate to widow Grace.
