In memory of Thomas Humphreys Esq. who died Nov. 9 1783 aged 76 and Frances his wife, (a dau. of Lieut. General John Richmond alias Webb(of Biddesden) died London Feb 9. 1777 and was buried at St. Giles, Cripplegate, by whom she had issue two sons and four daughter" (M.I. Hoare's Wilts, Hund of Anb. p 91.)

In his will Thomas talks about estates in Swindon in the occupation of Mr.Thomas Naish and Mr. Robert Laws.
